Sons of the Forest sold over 2 million in the first 24 hours of launch

Survival horror game Sons of the Forest became a historic launch for developer Endnight, as in the first 24 hours

After the game's Early Access release, it sold over two million copies. The developer himself spoke about this on his Twitter account:

Thank you to those who joined us in ourEarly Access journey to ‘Sons Of The Forest’ We sold over 2 million copies in the first 24 hours and are very excited about what we have in store for players in the coming weeks.

Even though the game had a very smalladvertising budget, according to data from SteamDB, peak online Sons of the Forest reached 411,999 players, which is even more than the long-awaited and hyped Hogwarts Legacy. Of course, it is not correct to judge the game only by the data on the peak online on Steam, but this is another confirmation of the success of the Endnight project.
