Sony showed off the PlayStation 5 interface: first look at Activities, Control Center and more

Sony has published a new edition of State of Play, showing gamers the PlayStation 5 interface.

According to Sony,

The new interface was developed from scratch toTake advantage of improved console performance while keeping your system cleaner. As in PS4, by pressing the PlayStation button the user is taken to the account selection screen, after which the player gains access to the system.

In PlayStation 5, the developers added “Centercontrols", through which you can take a screenshot, view your list of friends online, find out news about the game, and so on. According to Sony, this item contains almost everything you need to operate the console.

Sony has also added an Activities tab, whichshows progress on levels and allows you to immediately move on to certain activities. The player can even check how much time is left to complete a level or task.

PS5 will also get a picture-in-picture mode, for example for running a chat or broadcasting over a game.
