Sony will not show this: a blogger disassembled the PlayStation 5 gamepad, revealing the magic of DualSense tactile feedback

Sony talked about the gamepad for the PlayStation 5 even before the console itself was shown. The main feature of the new controller was

tactile feedback and adaptive triggers. And while the Japanese are talking about the benefits this technology provides, blogger TronicsFix disassembled the controller and revealed all the magic.

What's the secret

The controller can be disassembled without any problems: the structure is held on by latches and four bolts. The first pair is hidden behind a black plastic insert, and the second pair is hidden behind the L1 and R1 buttons.

Sony has not yet revealed the specificationscontroller, but after disassembling the device, the blogger found out that the battery had increased in size and the capacity was 1,560 mAh. The Dualshock 4 has a 1,000 mAh unit. The sticks remain the same, and, most likely, DualSense owners will also encounter the “drift” problem.

The controller also received more advancedvibration feedback system. Sony replaced the “motors” by adding a separate chip to control them, and the triggers received a special mechanism that can create voltage when pressed. For example, with his help in Ratchet &amp; In Clank: Rift Apart, the player will be able to control the shots fired from each barrel of the double-barreled shotgun.

The DualSense gamepad is already on sale,but in Ukraine only pre-orders are available for now. Most likely, the controllers will appear on shelves along with the release of the PlayStation 5 itself, which is scheduled for November 19.
