Airpeak is related to drones, but it is not yet clear whether Sony will offer its device to compete with companies such as DJI, or will produce cameras and sensors for quadcopters.
The press release states that this projectwill help “support the creativity of video creators to the maximum extent possible.” In addition, it is noted that the project is aimed at entertainment and “various” other industries. Apparently, Sony is hinting at both the consumer market and the professional sphere.
