Quietly and without warning, Sony released a standalone version of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered for PlayStation 5.
Sudden
release
Previously, players could get the updated Marvel'sSpider-Man for PlayStation 5 only by purchasing Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition or buy the Miles Morales add-on and then pay an additional $20. Now the game is available as a stand-alone edition with a price tag of 1,349 UAH, which is much cheaper than Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (2,299 UAH).
Features Spider-Man Remastered for PlayStation5 improved graphics. The developers have added as many as three performance modes, including running the game with ray tracing at 60 FPS. Digital Foundry also noted that Insomniac improved lighting, draw distance, and some textures in the remaster.
Originally a stand-alone Marvel's Spider-ManRemastered for PlayStation 5 was discovered by journalist Twisted Voxel. According to the publication, the game is already available on the PlayStation Store, but if you already bought the original Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4 with the season pass to the DLC, then you won’t be able to buy the remaster. This may be a system bug that Sony will fix soon.
