Sony has confirmed that it will no longer sell the boot codes of PlayStation 4 games outside of the PlayStation Network.
Along with disc versions of games, the companysent vouchers to stores with a key to download from PSN. Apparently, the service did not receive the expected popularity, and Sony decided to stop selling keys. Now gamers can buy digital versions of games only on the PlayStation Store.
In the comments for Eurogamer, the company confirmedwhich will complete the sale and support of vouchers from April 1, 2019. At the same time, the changes will not affect the DLC, add-ons, seasonal passes and codes with virtual currency. In addition, Sony plans to increase the nominal value of the PSN card.
