Sony Xperia 8: 6-inch 21: 9 display, Snapdragon 630 chip, dual camera, NFC, water protection and $ 467 price tag

Sony has quietly announced the new mid-budget smartphone Xperia 8.

The device was equipped with a 13MP + 8MP dual camera. The first module is the main one, the second is a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The front camera is new 8-megapixel. The fingerprint scanner in the Xperia 8 is not sub-screen. It was installed on the side of the smartphone.

The device is powered by a 2760 mAh battery withUSB-C port and fast charging. The new product also has an NFC module and support for High-Resolution Audio with LDAC technology. A smartphone works out of the box on Android 9 Pie.

Price and when to wait

Smartphone sales in Japan will start this month. For the device will have to pay 467 US dollars. Whether it will appear in the global market is still unknown.
