Source: HMD Global will release the flagship smartphone Nokia 9.1 PureView in the second quarter of 2020

There were rumors that HMD Global would announce a successor to the Nokia 9 PureView before the end of this year, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

What is known

According to industry source NokiaAnew, the manufacturer has postponed the release of the new flagship device. The novelty will not be released before the second quarter of 2020. Until this moment, the company will concentrate on the production of budget and mid-budget devices.

Unfortunately, there are no details about the Nokia 9 smartphone.1 PureView is not really available, but we can assume that the device, like the current model, will receive a camera with five modules, a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or 865 processor, 6/8 GB of RAM, an under-screen scanner and a widescreen AMOLED display.

Let us remind you that HMD Global is currently working on the Nokia 8.2 smartphone, which will be equipped with a 5G modem and the new Snapdragon 735 chip.
