According to the publication of Huawei Central, referring toan industrial source, a Chinese company has already begun production of the Kirin 1000 chip. It will be built on a 5-nanometer process technology. The chipset will also receive the A77 architecture and, of course, an integrated modem for the fifth generation network (5G). There are no other details and the new SoC yet.

When to expect

Kirin 1000 is planned to be released in the second half of 2020. The first, with a high degree of probability, will receive the flagship line of smartphones Mate 40.
