According to Windows Central, Microsoft is developing a budget Surface laptop that will work

running the new Windows 11 SE operating system.

What is known

According to the leak, the device comes with a codecalled Tenjin. The gadget will be intended for schoolchildren. It will compete with Chromebooks. The same applies to Windows 11 SE. It will be a lightweight version of the regular system and will compete with Chrome OS.

The laptop is credited with 11.6-inch display with a picture resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The device will also receive an Intel Celeron N4120 processor and 8 GB of RAM. The ports in the new product will include one USB Type-A, one USB Type-C and a headphone jack.

Price and when to wait

There are no exact dates for the release of the new laptop and the new OS, but I am saying that the release will take place before the end of this year. The laptop will cost less than $549.
