The KF-X is now being tested on the runway. Usually such tests are carried out before the first flight. Rumor has it that it will take place on July 22.

Tests of the aircraft should last until 2026. After this, South Korea plans to begin mass production of the new product. If everything goes according to plan, the KF-X will enter service in the country in 2029.

KF-X (final name KF-21) is a Koreanfighter, the development of which began back in 2001. There are many scandals and spy stories associated with the plane. Initially, the KF-X was planned as a fifth-generation fighter with the capabilities of the F-22 and the size of the F-16. But during development, the requirements for the KF-X decreased. As a result, it became a 4.5 generation aircraft. The length of the aircraft is 13 meters and the height is 4.5 meters.
