SpaceX conducted static fire tests of the engines of the new prototype of the Starship spacecraft

Aerospace company SpaceX is already preparing to relaunch the Starship spacecraft into space.This week she

conducted a static fire test of the engines of the new prototype.

What is known

The Starship prototype is simply called Ship. The 24th prototype, Ship 24, took part in the April launch. On June 27 at 03:27 (EET), the company tested the Ship 25 engines.

The fire test lasted approximately 5 seconds. The spacecraft is equipped with six Raptor engines. During the test, all propulsion systems worked simultaneously.

SpaceX has made over 1,000 changes tospacecraft design. A second attempt to send Starship into space is expected in about six weeks, CEO Elon Musk recently announced.

Note that the rocket system is 120 meters highconsists of a Starship and a Super Heavy rocket. The latter has 33 Raptor engines that generate over 7,000 tons of thrust. The giant system will be used to launch large second-generation Starlink satellites into orbit, as well as to land astronauts on Mars and the Moon.
