Now there are 595 spacecraft in near-Earth space as part of this communication system.

The launch took place at 1:12 (8:12 Moscow time) at the cosmodrome at Cape Canaveral (Florida). The previous batch of 58 satellites was launched on June 13th.

Also as an additional burden onFalcon 9 was launched into orbit by two small Earth remote sensing spacecraft Global-5 and six satellites of the American company BlackSky. They are designed to carry out multispectral imaging of the Earth in the optical range with a resolution of about 1 m. These satellites sequentially separated from the second stage after 1 hour and 1 minute.

Recall that Starlink is a new generation satellite network, which, if successfully operated, will be able to provide people around the world with broadband Internet access.
