SpaceX successfully launched another 52 Starlink satellites into orbit using the Falcon 9 rocket, bringing the total number of spacecraft to almost 3,400

The next batch of Starlink satellites was successfully launched into orbit using the reusable Falcon 9 launch vehicle.

What is known

Rocket launched from US Space Force siteat Cape Canaveral, Florida on September 25 at 02:32 (EET). Falcon 9 sent 52 more satellites into orbit. Thus, the total number of Starlink spacecraft is already almost 3,400 pieces.

According to SpaceX, this was the fourth mission forFalcon 9 first stage. 10 minutes after launch, she successfully returned to Earth, landing on a floating platform "Lack of Gravity" (A Shortfall of Gravitas) in the Atlantic Ocean.

Now every orbital mission isa record for SpaceX in 2022. Elon Musk's company has already completed 43 missions since the beginning of 2022. This is 12 more than during the whole of 2021.

SpaceX is still putting satellites into orbitfirst generation. In 2023, the company will start launching more powerful Starlink V2 spacecraft using the Starship spacecraft, which smartphone owners can connect to.
