SpaceX to Launch Japan's ispace Hakuto-R Module with Rashid Rover to the Moon to Study the Environment

What is known

The module of the Japanese company ispace is calledHakuto R. The launch is scheduled for November 28, 2022. A Falcon 9 launch vehicle lifts off from Cape Canaveral. Hakuto-R will be the first ever private company module to visit the Moon.

Hakuto-R will deliver to our natural satelliteplanet lunar rover Rashid, which was developed in the United Arab Emirates. Its purpose is to study the environment. To do this, the device is equipped with a thermal imager, a set of cameras and other equipment. The journey to the moon will take several months. In the middle of spring 2023, Hakuto-R will reach the surface of the satellite.
