According to Esports Charts statistics, MOBA League of Legends became the most popular esports discipline of the outgoing year — its broadcasts collected more than 615 million hours of viewing.
In terms of peak viewership, League of Legends also ranked first with over 5 million concurrent viewers. For comparison, Dota 2 has collected only 1.7 million people.
