Steam and GeForce NOW games officially available on Xbox

NVIDIA has unblocked access to its GeForce NOW streaming service through the Microsoft Edge browser, allowing

Xbox owners can play Steam PC games on theirconsoles. GeForce NOW includes access to more than 1,000 PC games, and NVIDIA is finally starting to support the Edge browser that's part of the Xbox system. The changes appeared in today's latest GeForce NOW beta update.

Unfortunately, this is still not an official clientGeForce NOW, which is what Xbox owners (and other consoles too) are hoping for, but it’s still better than previous homemade solutions through the Parsec application, which was essentially a remote access client to your PC with the ability to stream images to the Xbox browser.

This brings the dream of playing a game one step closer.PC gaming on Xbox is brought to life as it gives you easy access to streaming PC games to your Xbox. Since the basic GeForce Now service is free, you can stream popular PC games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DOTA 2, and League of Legends at 1080p for an hour session.

What's even more interesting is that the Edge browser on Xbox alsosupports mouse and keyboard input, so you can play some games that don't even have gamepad support. This is not the most ideal experience on Xbox right now, because the virtual keyboard appears on key presses, and the lag doesn't have a very good impact on the multiplayer experience.
