Steam Deck Docking Station Coming Later Than Expected

valve planned to release a docking station for Steam Deck in late spring, but did not grow together. The problem lies in

the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic - so we will have to wait a while.

A new release date has yet to be announced:

“Due to a shortage of parts and closures in our factories, which were associated with COVID, the release of the official docking station Steam Deck delayed. We are working on fixing the current situation and will share more as soon as we have more information.

The company also adds that these issues will not affect lead times in any way. Steam Deck, since other parts are used there - in addition, consoles are assembled at other enterprises.

Now valve continues to improve docking experience when connected to USB-C hubs and external monitors.
