The RandomGaminginHD channel on YouTube tested an assembly based on an AMD processor in seven popular gaming projects
RandomGaminginHD channel expert in one ofYouTube has tested the performance of the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T processor (released in 2010) in modern games. Projects were tested in 1080p. Games included Battlefield V, Fallout 4, Fortnite, Forza Horizon 5, Grand Theft Auto V, Resident Evil Village, The Witcher 3.
INBattlefield vat high graphics settings, the average frame rate was 67 fps, and in extremely rare events – 8 fps.
Next, inFallout 4also with a high preset FPS averaged 47 fps, in very rare events – 17 fps.
GameFortniteran on high graphics settings withAnti-Aliasing technology disabled, long viewing distance. The average performance in it was 60 fps, but in extremely rare events this value dropped to 9 fps.
Forza horizon 5also tested with a high preset. The frame rate in it averaged 68 fps, in very rare events – 26 fps.
Grand theft auto vran on high settings with detail set to half. On average, in this case we managed to get 59 fps, and in extremely rare events – 19 fps.
Resident evil villagecame with the Prioritize Graphics preset. The average FPS in the game was 55 fps, and in very rare events it was 23 fps.
INThe witcher 3with high graphics settings and a low preset preset (Low Post Processing Preset), the average performance was 52 fps, in extremely rare events – 5 fps.
Conclusion
Average performance across allprojects amounted to 58 fps for the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T. In general, you can still play some games with this processor model. Moreover, both in the old and in the new, however, in the latter – with some restrictions.
