Students will launch into orbit their own scientific satellite to test the solar sail

The creation and launch of the satellite is carried out by students of the Master's program "Management of Territorial Development on the Basis of

Technologies and Data of Remote Sensing of the Earth" at the FEFU School of Digital Economy.

The launch of the CubeSat microsatellite will take place before the end of 2019.At the same time, the message does not indicate from which cosmodrome the students are going to launch the satellite as a payload to the main cargo.

The satellite is planned to be placed on the rocket inas an associated payload, deliver it to a near-earth orbit and use it to conduct technological research: tests of solar sail elements, an onboard computer, and materials science experiments.
