cases. Discuss

Researchers studied data from nearly 2,400 patientsMayo clinics in different regions of the United States. These people first had an online consultation, and then visited a doctor within 90 days after it. The preliminary diagnosis made during the video call coincided with the diagnosis after the face-to-face appointment in 87% of cases.

Basically, doctors made correct conclusions online in psychiatry (96%). Incorrect diagnoses were more often made in otolaryngology (77.3%).

It should be noted that since the study was conducted in the United States, these findings may not be relevant for Russia.
