In a new study, 67 students took twodifferent tests - color and verbal. Sometimes classical music played in the background during the tests, sometimes white noise, and sometimes there was silence. Several days elapsed between tests.

It turned out that neither music nor white noise increased the level of cognitive abilities of the participants. White noise made it even worse.
