Scientists have studied the relationship between meat eaters, vegans and vegetarians. It turned out that vegans are more negative
Scientists conducted two studies. In the first, researchers conducted a survey of 477 participants in Belgium, in the second, they studied messages on Twitter. The authors searched for tweets using the 16 most popular hashtags related to meat-eating or veganism (e.g., #antivegan, #yes2meat, #veganfood, #plantbased). These tweets were carefully analyzed.
It turned out that meat eaters and vegans rarely expressnegative attitude towards each other contrary to stereotypes. Although the general attitude was not negative, vegans were more likely to express dislike for those who eat animal products.
