Suddenly! Apple is preparing to release a new full-sized HomePod smart speaker

The information was shared by a Bloomberg journalist andinsider Mark Gurman. The new product will receive an updated panel with touch controls. The column will run on the proprietary S8 processor. The same chip is installed in the current Apple Watch.

As for the price, according to Gurman, it will be competitive. For comparison, the original HomePod model sold for $349.

The release of the new HomePod will take place in the near future.
