Suddenly: Apple said that it will have to transfer the iPhone to USB-C

This year the epic ended with the adoption by the European Union of the USB-C connector as a single standard for all

Well, today at the Wall Street Journal Tech Live event, Apple VP of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak said he respects the EU's decision, adding "we must comply."

So now we have a directconfirmation that future iPhones will still switch to USB-C, and all the speculation about “connectorless” iPhones, if they don’t fall apart, are at best shelved. By the way, since spring there have been rumors that Apple is testing an iPhone with USB-C.
