Swiss Post resumes delivery of drone mail and medical tests

The resumption of mail delivery and medical tests by drones will begin on January 27, 2020. Swiss Post and Matternet

tested all the drones they have and concluded that they are in good technical condition and do not pose a threat to people on the ground.

In addition, by the end of March 2020, an additional supervisory body will appear in Switzerland, which will monitor the safety of Matternet drones.

After several months of investigation, representatives of the Swiss post decided to temporarily abandon the use of this type of transport in their work.
