The Turkish defense company has published the first images of a new generation of drones. According to the manufacturer, this project can take drones to a new level.

Anka-3 will receive a turbofan jetengine. The unmanned aerial vehicle will have a maximum takeoff weight of 7000 kg and will be able to carry not only sensors for surveillance, but also weapons. Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said the Anka-3 will be able to strike at enemy air defense systems.

There are no more details about the drone.It will make its first flight in 2023. Externally, the Anka-3 resembles Northrop Grumman's X-47B multipurpose drone (pictured), which first flew almost 12 years ago and has a cruising speed of almost 1,000 km/h.
