Take-Two financial report: GTA V and RDR 2 sales are incredible, but the company is suffering losses

Take-Two Interactive has published its financial report for the third (fiscal) quarter of 2023.

What is known

  • Take-Two's revenue was $1.41 billion, up 56% from the same period last year;
  • the company's losses correspond to $153.6 million;
  • GTA V sales reached 175 million copies, and 5 million copies were sold during the specified period;
  • total sales of games in the GTA franchise amounted to 395 million copies;
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold over 50 million copies.

By fiscal year 2025, Take-Two expects to release 87 games.

The following releases are planned for 2023:Kerbal Space Program 2 (February 24), WWE 2K23 (March 17), After Us (Spring), GTA: The Trilogy mobile version, Marvel's Midnight Suns for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and Star Wars Hunters.
