Tamagochi returns: now with a color screen, connecting to a smartphone and the ability to multiply

Tamagotchi - the famous toy of the 90s. So, the Bandai company continues with enviable persistence to produce different models of Tamagotchi, which, however, no longer enjoy such success. The latest novelty is called Tamagotchi On.

The main task, like 20 years ago, is to feed,raise your virtual pet and not let him die. The toy is made in the shape of a familiar egg, only significantly “grown up”: if the first models were the size of a key chain, then Tamagotchi On is 2.5 inches tall and takes up half of the palm.

Also, the novelty received a 2.25-inch color screen, an infrared port for “connecting” with other Tamagotchi and Bluetooth, with which you can connect to a smartphone.

Of the new features - the ability to introduce yourpet with other Tamagotchi (infrared to help) and even marry them. As in real life, after the wedding, offspring appears: on one device you can collect up to 16 generations. Moreover, you can send the animal for the holidays to another user and enjoy the peace and quiet at this time.

Amazon can already pre-order Tamagotchi On, the cost of such a toy is $ 59.99. Sales will start this summer in Japan and the USA.
