Tamagotchi returns: now with a color screen, connecting to a smartphone and the ability to multiply

Tamagotchi is a famous toy from the 90s.So, the Bandai company continues, with enviable persistence, to release various Tamagotchi models, which, however, are no longer so successful. The latest new product is called Tamagotchi On.

The main task, like 20 years ago, is to feed,raise your virtual pet and don’t let him die. The toy is made in the shape of a familiar egg, only it has “grown” significantly: if the first models were the size of a keychain, then Tamagotchi On is 2.5 inches high and takes up half the palm.

The new product also received a 2.25-inch color screen, an infrared port for “communication” with other Tamagotchis and Bluetooth, with which you can connect to a smartphone.

Among the new features is the ability to introduce yourpet with other Tamagotchis (IR port to help) and even marry them. Just like in real life, after a wedding, offspring appear: up to 16 generations can be collected on one device. Moreover, you can send the animal on vacation to another user and enjoy peace and quiet during this time.
