Technology companies in Russia set up coronavirus alliance

Technology companies in Russia, including Yandex and Mail.ru Group, have created an alliance to combat coronavirus.

The above companies were also joined by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).

Representatives of the alliance have already held a conference callmeeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The tasks of the association will include organizing rapid testing of Russians for coronavirus. They promise to use the best available technologies for testing.

The alliance must also ensure industrial safety and uninterrupted operation of the largest Russian enterprises.

It is reported that a pilot project withRussian-Japanese rapid tests for coronavirus will be launched in April at some enterprises. Test systems are adapted for both conventional laboratories and portable mini-laboratories.
