Tecno Phantom X2: a real flagship with Dimensity 9000

Last year, Tecno introduced its first flagship smartphone - Phantom X. It offered many interesting

characteristics (waterfall screen, five usefulcameras, including the base on GN1), but it was deprived of hardware: the flagship was based on the MediaTek Helio G95. Two months ago, we told you that their sequels Phantom X2 and X2 Pro would soon appear in Russia - and we were afraid that they would be built according to the same formula. But everything turned out to be completely different.

According to blogger Tech Arena24 (most likelyused by Tecno as a channel for controlled leaks), the Tecno Phantom X2 smartphone will receive the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. At the same time, the screenshots shown by the source do not even mention Dimensity 9000+, but Dimensity 9000+. However, it is possible that the older one will be saved for the Phantom X2 Pro, and the regular Phantom X2 will receive the Dimensity 9000. Among other characteristics, the source calls a slightly curved display (no more waterfalls) and the absence of an audio jack. We will learn about other parameters of the new Tecno flagships closer to the announcement.
