The Apple Watch is the favorite smartwatch among teenagers, while the iPhone is the most popular smartphone, according to
Piper conducted a survey among 6500 teenagers at the age of 16 years.
69% of respondents said they are replacing their iPhonesonce every 3 years according to the year-pass-year scheme, which cannot be said about competitors whose 75% of buyers are planning to change companies (we are talking about such manufacturers as Samsung, Motorola, LG and Google)
Apple Watch also performs well.Of the 12% of teens surveyed who own their own smartwatch, 7% said they change their watches on a year-on-year-on-year basis. Also, a record 71% of respondents said they use an Apple Watch. Unfortunately, the iPad doesn't perform as well.
59% of teenagers said that they haveown tablet, of which 48% are iPad owners. These figures are 3% lower compared to last year, which means that sales are trending down. The future doesn't look attractive either, with 13% of respondents saying they plan to buy a tablet next year.
Of these 13% percent of respondents, 2% statedtheir plans to buy an iPad according to the year-vacation-year scheme. “Apple's growth in this area can be associated with the release of 12.9 and 7.9 inch models, which offer Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil”
