Funds raised will primarily go towards the launch of The Expanse: A Telltale Series due out this year, the development of The Wolf Among Us 2, and another unannounced game.

Skybound CEO David Alpert(David Alpert) said the company continues to believe in the power of narrative gaming and this investment will support Telltale in creating even more amazing stories.
For those who are not in the know
Prior to this, Skybound Entertainment helped the studiobring The Walking Dead series back to stores in 2020, after Telltale Games closed in 2018. But it was able to revive in 2019 thanks to LCG Entertainment, which was able to acquire the rights to much of Telltale, Inc.'s original intellectual property, along with branding , games and game licenses.
