Tesla has once again found itself in a scandal involving violations of labor laws in the United States.
What is known
National Labor Relations Administration(NLRB) accuses Elon Musk's company of violating labor laws. It is alleged that Tesla has banned its employees in Orlando, Florida from discussing work processes.
In addition, NLRB Regional Director for Tampaback in September filed a complaint against Tesla. The reason was that the manufacturer forbade employees to discuss wages with people and ordered not to disseminate information about the dismissal of one of the employees. Also, the company did not allow complaining about working conditions.
This is not the first problem for Elon Musk's company. In 2021, the NLRB found that Tesla violated labor laws by firing union activist Richard Ortiz. The agency ordered the company to reinstate him and remove any disciplinary action from his personal file.
NLRB ordered Elon Musk to remove one of hisposts on Twitter. The agency saw it as a threat to strip employees of stock options if they joined a union. The post was not removed as Tesla filed an appeal and the case is still pending.
Nothing stopping Tesla team at our car plant fromvoting union Could do so tmrw if they wanted. But why pay union dues & give up stock options for nothing? Our safety record is 2X better than when plant was UAW & everyone already gets healthcare.

The trial in the new case will take place in February 2023. However, it is not worth waiting for a final decision, because. Tesla will be able to appeal, and the process will drag on for years.
