Tesla electric cars began to independently pass unregulated intersections

In the new beta version, Tesla electric vehicles have learned to cross uncontrolled intersections: while driving

they take into account road signs and traffic lights. The highest priority is given to data from the on-board cameras of the electric vehicle.

The car takes into account the priority when leaving the secondary road to the main one, and also gives way to cars moving in the opposite direction when turning left.

The company notes that the update is still availablenot to all electric vehicles, but only to participants in the early testing program. The update includes a number of new features for active driver assistance systems and an updated version of the system for predicting the behavior of other road users. 

Those who have already used the new function of crossing an uncontrolled intersection note that the car copes with the task, but acts more carefully than a typical driver. 

The company plans to release several more updates before the latest version of FSD becomes available to a wide range of Tesla electric vehicle owners.
