Tesla officially opened the first 250 kW Supercharger 3 charging station

Supercharger 3 first appeared a few months ago as part of charging testing: then Tesla installed

model at the factory in the Californian city of Fremont - only some owners of the electric car could use it by appointment.

Now Tesla has opened the first station available to all with the Supercharger 3 in Hawthorne, California. In the near future, the company promises to install a new model at other stations for charging electric cars.

Superfast Supercharger 3 forelectric cars was introduced to Tesla in March 2019. The power of the device is 250 kW for the newer Model 3 and 200 kW for the Model S and Model X, which came out earlier. Compared to the Supercharger 2, the power of the new charging model has increased by 50%.
