The first smartphone with a sub-screen camera ZTE Axon 20 5G recently went on sale. Blogger Zach Nelson, author of the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, disassembled the device and showed the camera device.
Under the display, the ZTE Axon 20 5G has a 32-megapixelimage sensor. Unfortunately, the photos on it are not very good. But the fact that a smartphone with a sub-screen camera is on sale is impressive.
Zach has sequentially disassembled the ZTE Axon 20 5G,noting that it uses too much glue. Even the battery is difficult to remove. Nelson reached the front camera through the back of the device. It turned out to be similar to all selfie cameras that have been built into smartphones in recent years.
The blogger also removed the speaker located under the screen. Essentially, this is a module that transmits vibrations to the display to bring sound to the user's ear.
Zach explained that ZTE uses two differentdisplay on a smartphone. One is located directly above the selfie camera, and the second is a standard large OLED screen. If you look through the internal hole for the front camera on the back of the smartphone, you can see various objects due to transparency.
In the end, Nelson praised ZTE for the technology used.
