Korean manufacturer Samsung is preparing to announce a budget smartphone Galaxy M40. Last month, a novelty was noticed in

database site Wi-Fi Alliance, and now it has been tested in Geekbench.

What is known

The device passes with the same model number -SM-M405F. Android 9 Pie OS and 6 GB of RAM are installed onboard the device. For the performance of the smartphone meets the eight-core Snapdragon 675 processor. The same chipset has Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. Thanks to him, the novelty is scoring 2350 points in a single-core test, and 6410 points in a multi-core test.

Geekbench does not disclose any other details, but we already know that the Galaxy M40 will also receive an AMOLED display, a 64/128 GB ROM, a triple camera and, most likely, a teardrop-shaped display (Infinity-U).
