The budget smartphone Galaxy M40 was noticed in the Geekbench with a Snapdragon 675 chip

Korean manufacturer Samsung is preparing to announce the budget smartphone Galaxy M40. Last month, the new product was noticed in

database from the Wi-Fi Alliance website, and has now been tested on Geekbench.

What is known

The device comes with the same model number— SM-M405F. The device is equipped with the Android 9 Pie operating system and 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone is powered by an eight-core Snapdragon 675 processor. The same chipset powers the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. Thanks to him, the new product scores 2350 points in the single-core test, and 6410 points in the multi-core test.

Geekbench does not disclose any other details, but we already know that the Galaxy M40 will also receive an AMOLED display, a 64/128 GB ROM, a triple camera and, most likely, a teardrop-shaped display (Infinity-U).
