The computer learned to determine the recipes of dishes from photographs

Facebook specialists have developed an artificial intelligence system capable of restoring recipes based on

their photographs. She does this in a few seconds.

As a result of the analysis, the system gives the usera list of ingredients and even instructions for creating the dish. Of course, artificial intelligence will not be able to determine the specific type of cake flour used or, for example, the exact oven temperature when baking. However, the recipe still turns out to be close to the original.

The system uses computer vision toextract information from a snapshot. Two neural networks work in the program: one defines the ingredients, and the second develops the actual instruction. More precisely, she finds the right one in the database. It is reported that it includes approximately 350,000 of the original million recipes.
