In addition to describing the insides of the publication, the website also indicated the release date of the game - August 27, 2019. After a while, the pages were removed, and Shacknews journalists decided to contact the developers to find out if the Microsoft Store was lying.

Remedy spokesperson confirmed that Controlwill be released on August 27 at the same time on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, as well as on the PC in the Epic Games Store. Pre-order the game will give March 26. Gamers who buy Control before the release will receive the Tactical Response Gear and the Crafting Resources Pack.
