The developers of The Sims main competitor Life By You revealed the release date of the game in early access and shared other details

As previously reported, Paradox-Tectonic held an event dedicated to its upcoming project - Life By You. On it to us

talked about the game and its mechanics, and also showed some shots from it:

Throughout the presentation, the creators didspecial emphasis on modifiability and permanent peace. Paradox says they will work closely with the Early Access community to improve the game by providing testers with tools for creators to customize the game to their liking.

They also remembered their main competitor - TheSims, claiming that the game highlights real-world environments with a continuous, seamless world, rather than a story broken into a bunch of loading screens. They assure that a lot of emphasis will be placed on the dialogue system, which will be as realistic as possible, in contrast to the "cartoon" approach of The Sims. This can also be seen in the depths of the game's settings, which promise to be very large, but not too big to keep the gameplay realistic.

Life By You Early Access will be available on PC on September 12 this year.
