The developers of the main competitor of The Sims – Life By You revealed the game's Early Access release date and shared other details

As previously reported, Paradox-Tectonic held an event dedicated to its future project – Life By You. on it for us

talked about the game and its mechanics, and also showed some footage from it:

Throughout the presentation, the creators didspecial emphasis on modifiability and permanent peace. Paradox says they will work closely with the Early Access community to improve the game by providing testers with tools for creators to customize the game to their liking.

They also remembered their main competitor– The Sims, claiming that the game covers a real-world environment with a continuous, seamless world, rather than a story broken up into a bunch of loading screens. They assure that great emphasis will be placed on the dialogue system, which will be as realistic as possible, in contrast to the “cartoon” The Sims approach. This can also be seen in the depth of the game's settings, which promise to be very large, but not too large to keep the gameplay realistic.

Life By You Early Access will be available on PC on September 12 this year.
