The doctor explained why you often have a headache in the summer

Neurologist Pavel Khoroshev explained why many people get more frequent headaches in the summer. According to

specialist, this is a consequence of a lack of water in the body. Discuss

Lack of water leads to impaired blood flow, which affects the blood supply to internal organs, including the brain. Against this background, headaches develop. “I’m not exaggerating much if I say that 90 percent of headaches in the summer are due to the fact that a person drinks little,” Khoroshev emphasized.

The doctor also explained what drinking regimen should be followed, and told who should not drink a lot of liquid.

“In summer, you need to drink two or two drinks a day.half a liter of water, and in winter - one and a half or two liters, if there are no contraindications. These are, in particular, violations of the activity of the kidneys, the heart. Another exception is when a person has ascites, which is a condition where a large amount of fluid accumulates in the abdominal cavity. Everyone has a small amount of fluid there, about 30-100 milliliters splashes, but in some people, due to a number of diseases, especially the liver, the amount of water in the abdominal cavity can even increase to several liters. For such people, a large amount of water is contraindicated. If these ailments are not present, then thanks to two or two and a half liters of water per day, summer headaches will become just a memory for many, ”the neurologist explained.
