Yesterday, the Russian government introduced a bill to the State Duma on the creation of a domestic application store.
It is noted that it is planned to develop a new application without attracting budgetary funds, and the software that will be available in it will be taken from the list of the Ministry of Digital Development.
The project developers argue that such a measure is necessary due to sanctions pressure on the country, uncertainty with the supply of equipment and disconnection from the IT infrastructure.
Thus, the goal of creating a Russian application store is called providing Russians with familiar Internet services and channels of interaction.
Earlier it became known that foreign services have already begun to appear in another Russian app store, NashStore.
