The Swedish “killer” Russian Su fighters were tested by severe frosts.

For this, the local company Saab this winteryears conducted full-fledged tests of an aircraft under the name JAS-39E Gripen E at temperatures from −20 to −26 ° C. According to representatives of a military aircraft manufacturing company, this test was conducted to analyze the operation of on-board systems and the engine in different weather conditions.

Ultimately, all fighter systems,which were planned to be tested, showed excellent performance in conditions of sufficiently low temperature. At the same time, the device itself also managed to make a landing with braking on a snowy and icy runway.
