The expert named the winner in the likely battle between the Su-57 and F-35 fighters

Director of the Center for Analysis of the Global Arms Trade (TSAMTO) Igor Korotchenko told who the winner will be

in a likely air battle between Russian and American Su-57 and F-35 fighters.

His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.The expert believes that the Russian Su-57 is a technological masterpiece. And in a battle with the American counterpart - the F-22 or F-35 - the aircraft has a better chance of winning. Moreover, he will dominate in long-range missile and close maneuvering combat.

According to Korotchenko, the Su-57 has moreperfect aerodynamic layout than foreign competitors. As for the F-35, this is a light aircraft, while the Russian fighter belongs to the heavier class and has more combat power. Also, the Su-57 surpasses its counterparts in terms of weapons. The Russian fighter also has a good onboard radar system with a phased array.
