The final release date of OnePlus 8 is announced

OnePlus is gearing up to unveil the new OnePlus 8 series in April. The manufacturer has finally determined

announcement dates for the new phone.The official release of the new product will take place on April 14 on the global market. The company will hold an online conference via YouTube at 15:00 UTC to show off the much-awaited smartphones. However, Chinese residents will need to wait a couple more days. The tech giant announced via Weibo that the OnePlus 8 generation will debut in the domestic market on April 16.

In recent weeks, there have been manyleaks related to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. According to them, OnePlus 8 will debut with a 6.55-inch FullHD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The 8 Pro model will receive a 6.78-inch QHD + AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. According to another rumor, the Pro variant will have two 48-megapixel cameras on its Quad-Camera installation. One of them will be the same Sony IMX689 sensor that is used in the Oppo Find X2 Pro.

Among the similarities between the two phones arenote the Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G connectivity. Additionally, we will see variants with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Since these are OnePlus phones, there is no microSD card support. The smartphone will come with a 4,300mAh battery, while the Pro model will have a 4,510mAh battery. According to reports, the base version of the smartphone will use OnePlus 30W Warp Charge technology. But with the launch of the 8 Pro, a new 50W standard may debut.

There is also a third proposed model from thisrulers — OnePlus 8 Lite, which is believed to possibly be called OnePlus Z. This version will apparently be released a little later. The manufacturer will present this model as a middle-class smartphone; the new product will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chip.
