The Alice plane was named after the book Alice inWonderland" and the Jefferson Airplane song "White Rabbit". It is being developed by the American startup Eviation. As conceived by the authors, this aircraft will be offered in several configurations designed for suburban passenger, cargo and executive flights.

Aircraft equipped with two electric motorswith a power of 640 kW, equipped with two propellers and can fly up to 463 km. At the same time, its maximum take-off weight is 8.3 tons, and the speed is 481 km/h. At the same time, the developers note that the increase in all these characteristics is closely related to the technologies for creating electronic batteries and may increase as this area develops.
Testers note that the aircraft moves almostsilently and does not create unnecessary noise either inside the cabin or for the surrounding space. When the motors revved up, they sounded like electric trim tabs. And when the plane flew overhead, the noise was more like a hum than a roar, they add.
The test flight is only the first step towardscommercial flights. Eviation has yet to take it through a full and rigorous flight test regime and pass many safety certifications for both the aircraft and all of its systems, and the company itself. The developers hope to resolve all issues and bring Alice to the market in 2026.
