The first astronaut from the Arab world is a female engineer from the UAE

Noura will be accompanied by Mohammed al-Mulla. Both candidates were selected from 4 thousand people. Soon they

will join other astronauts in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's training program.

Note that the first astronaut from the Middle East participated in a mission to the ISS two years ago.

In a video presentation, Nura al-Matrush said that all her life she dreamed of the stars. Now 27 years old, she works as an engineer for an oil company and is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
