The first ever film “re-released” in 4K resolution

A video with an updated version of the cult film “The Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat Station” has appeared online.

Lumiere brothers. The main feature of this film is the fact that this is, in principle, the very first film in history - it was released back in 1896.

The latest version of “Arrival” boastshigh resolution 4K, and the author of this “remake” was the product manager of the publishing house “Committee” Denis Shiryaev. So, thanks to neural networks, he was able to increase the resolution of the source video, as well as increase the frame rate to 60 per second. Well, since there was no sound in the original, Shiryaev decided to add it himself - as the author of the work put it “for the sake of atmosphere.”

The product manager of the “Committee” has already said that he does not plan to stop there and the next step is to add color to the film.
