The first private space station to be built in orbit by 2027

The first private space station will be developed jointly with Lockheed Martin: Nanoracks and

Voyager Space in collaboration with the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

The station will have:inflatable habitation module, docking module, propulsion compartment, robotic arm and laboratory. Up to four astronauts will be able to be on the station at a time. Its area will be 340 m³.

For comparison, the area of ​​the ISS station is 916 m³, which can be compared to the space inside the Boeing 747 airliner.

In addition, Starlab will be able to host space tourists and carry out various commercial and business projects.

The station is going to be sent into orbit in one launch in 2027.
